Job Description:

• Driving entire incoming material inspection in line with  ABB s standards and ensure thorough incoming material inspection as per protocol according to various national international standards and ABB s guidelines.
• Ensuring effective measurement and validation process to ensure all requirements are full filled for each part and each material received at incoming stage.
• Monitoring and review FPY data at IQC stage. Review supplier s test certificate (TC), material test report (MTR), Inspection report (IR) in line with drawings and other Hitachi ABB s requirements.
• Preparing necessary IIPs (incoming inspection plan), checklist and CTQ (Critical to Quality) parameters to ensure best quality of material from supplier. Trains quality operators third party employees in basic quality test routines to ensure quality process are followed as per standard.
• Ensuring all quality tools and instruments are timely calibrated.
• OTS review at incoming stage First article inspection (first out turn sample inspection) for new development.
• Customer inspection Studying customer s requirement and collaborate the same with ABB s product guidelines to create Manufacturing Quality Plan (MQP) Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). Conducting raw material documentation review during customer s inspection.
• Collecting, recording, and evaluating Cp, Cpk data for critical parts for continual improvements in quality.
• Collecting problem statement from production and analyze data to solve it and improve quality to avoid repetition by Utilizing Lean 6 Sigma, engineering standards and specifications.
• Interfacing with other functions and being in close cooperation with responsible buyers, OPEX, Sustainability and Compliance, Project Management and R&D Engineering.
