Job Description:

• Responsible for overseeing the IT operations and provides preventive maintenance of hardware, peripherals and its related infrastructure, and IT administration
• Responsible for overseeing the installation and configuration of hardware, peripherals, support services, settings, active directories, storage, and office applications
• Responsible for ensuring the installation and configuration of hardware and software for users. 
• Responsible for performing the daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as Cloud backups and MRP generations logs.
• Responsible for ensuring that the company system hardware, operating system, software system, and its related procedures have adhered to the organizational values.
• Responsible for performing daily auto-backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the on-premise and cloud platform.
• Responsible for assisting the project team with technical issues in the initiation and planning phases of the project, such as the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
• Participating in the company technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and the emerging state-of-the-art technology
• Ensuring of the versions of Windows servers and its operating systems are always up to dates, such as apply O/S patches and security fixes regularly, upgrades administrative tools and utilities and configures or adds new services as necessary
• Responsible for system operations and systems support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identifies approaches that leverage our resources and provides economies of scale.
• Responsible for performing regular security monitoring system to identify any possible intrusions in the network.
• Responsible for conducting in-house Disaster Recovery Drill every half-yearly or from the private cloud to a standalone server. Get the key process users to test the restored backup data and run the application and tests the shared folders
• Performing of regular file archival and purge unimportant files or folders as necessary on servers and user desktops/notebooks, including emails and local drives.
• Responsible for creating, changing and disables user accounts as per request with approval.
• Responsible for providing user support as per request and investigates or troubleshoots issues at the highest priority.
• Responsible for repairing and recovering of the hardware or software failures, coordinates and communicates with users about the failures or issues
• Responsible for allowing the usage of remote-access and video-conferencing-access to support users on-site and off-site using the MS Team software.
• Maintaining the up-to-date operational and configuration procedures
• Responsible for documentation of the inventories of the number of software licenses, number of notebooks & desktops, and number of MS Office for Business licenses to be tracked by device asset or serial numbers and by users
• Interpreting or discussing information with users, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provides advice and recommends actions involving complex issues.
